God has planned for us to be ministers of His grace and messengers of His love (1 Peter 4:10, Acts 20:24).

The church exists to minister to people but how can people be cared for unless believers are equipped to serve and demonstrate God’s love (Ephesians 4:12)? As we minister, we find out that we are dependent on each other. Different needs and hurts exist to be met with the love of Jesus and we can be vehicles of His love.

Every believer is meant to be a minister (Mark 10:45). Service and giving are defining characteristics of the Christlike lifestyle. Ministry helps you discover new talents and evangelism helps you fulfill your mission in the world.

But starting out in ministry can leave you feeling like a square peg in a round hole. You may feel like you don’t fit and you don’t have the skill set required. Our SHAPE course is designed to discover your God-given SHAPE for ministry and mission. SHAPE is an acronym for:

S – Spiritual Gifts
H – Heart
A – Abilities
P – Personality
E – Experiences

Assessing this holistic view of yourself is fantastic because discovering your Spiritual Gifts might be broad, however, examining your passions and personal make-up can give clarity on what God intends for you to do. Every person has a role to play in bringing revival to their community and city and in SHAPE we learn what that is for each of us.
